Impact load

The impact load must also be taken into account because the wheels or rollers can undergo some substantial impacts or shocks that go far beyond their normal capacity when travelling over potholes or crossing rails or thresholds and this can lead to deterioration. If this cannot be avoided then wheels with an elastic running tread and a larger diameter and greater load reserves should be chosen where possible.
